Meeting Minutes - April 16, 2009
Coachlight RV Park, Carthage, MO

The General Membership Meeting was called to order by President T.J. Ballard at 9AM. The minutes for the August 2008 meeting are on the club web site. The Treasurer’s report for November 2008 through March 2009 was presented.

Old Business:
There was no old business.

New Business:
There was discussion about making future April rallys as All Host affairs. A motion made to that effect, was seconded and passed.
A motion was made and passed to elect Lucille Severe as the 2010 Wagon Master and Carol Cook was appointed as the new Sunshine Lady.
Gary and Elaine Sidebottom reported on the preparations for the May rally at Guthrie, OK. Details are contained in the May rally flyer.
Dan Couch, National Director, gave a report on the 2009 Six State Rally in Shawnee, OK. Details can be found in the FMCA magazine and online at www.fmca.com/. Dan Couch’s name will be placed in nomination for the position of Six State Treasurer, to replace our own Tom Drennon. Also, Charlie Adcock will be running for the position of Six State Executive Vice President to replace Bill Loganbill. He also stated that FMCA is considering eliminating one of the national conventions each year as part of the organization’s cost savings efforts. That would probably not take effect until 2011.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the chapter. It will be celebrated at either the June rally or the August rally, depending on the schedule of Fred Kennedy, Six State President.
A nominating committee of Carol Genrich, Gary Sidebottom and Ken Stremming was elected.
