April 23, 2010 Meeting Minutes

The General Membership Meeting was called to order by President Chuck Genrich at 9AM. The minutes for the October 2009 meeting have been distributed to the membership. The Treasurer’s report for March 2010 was presented

Medical updates of members were given. Dan Couch had stents put in, and is doing well. Wayne Cook has two new knees. Norma Midget’s chemo is working well, and she and her husband plan on traveling this summer. Frank Anderson is waiting on a decision for treatment.

President Chuck Genrich gave a report about the chapter letters sent to FMCA members. There were 395 letters sent out to FMCA members. Approximately one dozen FMCA members responded. One new couple expressed interest in visiting this rally, but did not attend.

The 2010 Six State Rally in Shreveport, LA will have electricity for 700 coaches. Members should go ahead and register for the rally to ensure getting electricity. He also informed members that the 2011 Six State Rally will be in Hutchinson, KS, and HOA may be a volunteer chapter.

FMCA dues increased to $40 on April 1, and there are 5 free memberships available for new members. Members should contact Chuck if they know of anyone who would like to join and who would benefit from a free membership.

Lucille Severe said she still needs 2011 hosts, and she thanked everyone for their help and prayers. She also gave information on the FMCA clothing: $25 jacket with emblem, $4 for your name, $15 for shirts w/ printing.

Jenny Weaver spoke about their experience and great time at the Albuquerque NM FMCA Convention.

Chuck Genrich informed members that FMCA’s finances are doing better. The next rally will be in Clinton on May 20-23, and members need to call and make their reservation with the park.

Tom Drennon moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Jack Mathes.
