June 26, 2010 Meeting Minutes
McPherson RV Park and Horse Motel, Mcpherson, Kansas
The general business meeting was called to order by the President, Charles Genrich. The treasurer, Carol Genrich, gave the treasurer’s report. It was approved and will be filed. The club did not have a May business meeting so there was no Secretary’s report.
Committee reports:
National Director, Dan Couch, reported about Six-State Rally topics. Each club is requested to have a booth or table for the Chapter Fair. We discussed what our club could do for our part in this fair. A “Bag of Life” with medical information in case an emergency should arise would be a good idea. The bags will have forms to fill out that would give name, medical history, doctors, etc., (which we will provide). The recipients will be instructed to have it in a baggie (which we will provide) and secure it to the refrigerator door. We could also distribute our brochure about our club, Heart of America.
A motion was made by Carol Genrich and seconded by Gary Sidebottom to provide two $50.00 gift certificates from Walmart to give as door prizes at Six-State. It was discussed that it would be a good idea to keep Heart of America mentioned as much as we could. The motion passed.
Arriving earlier than your scheduled date at Six-State State will be frowned upon because of traffic patterns around the State Fair Grounds in Shreveport. If wanting to meet with other club members find a place away from the fair grounds or meet in the holding area.

Sept: Six-State area rally, Hutchison, KS
Oct: To Be Assigned
Nominating Committee Report:
All officers agreed to serve in their current positions for the coming year, 2011. (This made this committee’s job easy.)
