October 2010 Meeting Minutes
The HOA 2010 General Business meeting was called to order by the President, Charles Genrich.
The secretary report was printed in the June newsletter and approved at this meeting.
The treasurer’s report was given by Carol Genrich and filed for audit.
Committee reports:
Rally Master , Lucille Severe, gave the following dates for the 2011 HOA rallies:
April 20 - 23 Cedar Oaks RV Resort Grove, OK
May 19 - 22 Peculiar Park Place Peculiar, MO
June 16 - 19 Deer Creek Valley RV Park Topeka, KS
July 21 - 24 America’s Best Campground Branson, MO
Aug. 10 - 13 FMCA International Convention Madison, WS
Sep. 28 - Oct 1 Six- State; Kansas State Fairground Hutchinson,KS
Oct. 2 - 6 Spring Lake RV Resort Halstead, KS

The Six-State (SRA) annual meeting was reported by National Director Dan Couch. The administrative budget was approved for $8,650.00. Rod Sartwell and Steve Pickens were re-elected for a one year term to their present positions of North and South Vice President.
One of the by-law change included two 2 year terms for all officers. Also all officers are to be elected to their respective terms in odd years. A standing rule change is the SRA administrative costs are to be deducted from rally proceeds before the 60/40 split with volunteer chapters.
The current officers of Heart of America in 2010 have agreed to be the officers for the coming year. A motion was made and seconded that they be elected the officers for 2011. They are Charles Genrich, President; Sue Carey, Vice President; Carol Genrich, Treasurer; Marilee Couch, Secretary; Lucille Severe, Wagonmaster; Dan Couch, National Director; Wayne Cook, Alternate Director. Motion passed.
Dues are due for 2011 and are payable Jan.1.
