Secretary’s Report
April 18, 2014

Meeting called to order by President Lucille Severe at 12:30 pm.

In attendance were: Couchs, Backers, TJ Ballard, Cooks, Genrichs, McVays, Nashs, Sidebottoms, Severes, McKinneys, Tom Drennon and Jack Mathes.

Elaine Sidebottom reported on the chapter finances. The chapter currently has a total of $7,981.17 in all accounts.

Marilee Couch reported on the Ambassador Destination Briefing and Tour at Shreveport, LA, the site of the 2014 Six State Rally. This briefing and tour was conducted by the Shreveport Convention and Visitor's Bureau to expose chapter representatives to the local area.

Wagon Master Carol Genrich gave a report on the rallies for 2014 and requested volunteers for the hosting duties not currently filled for several of the rallies.

Elaine Sidebottom reported on a letter from the Alzheimer Association acknowledging our donation in memory of Jeanette Drennon.

Dan Couch made a motion that chapter dues be suspended until further notice. Gary Sidebottom seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The July meeting is the 45th anniversary of the chapter. Dan Couch is in charge of the event planning for that anniversary. The National Vice President of the FMCA South Central Area, Jim McCabe, is expected to attend.
