2011  OCTOBER  RALLY

SECRETARY REPORT

The Heart of America Coachmen business meeting was called to order by Charles Genrich, President, on September 25 at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchison, KS. The remainder of the October rally will take place at Spring Lake RV Resort in Halstead KS beginning Oct.1.

The Treasurer’s report was made by Carol Genrich.  The total amount in the treasurer accounts is $7,834.16. The report was approved and filed.

The slate of officers for 2012 was presented for a vote. The following officers were unanimously approved for the following year:

            President – Charles Genrich

            Vice President – Sue Carey

            Secretary – Anne Marie Carlile

            Treasurer – Elaine Sidebottom

            National Director – Dan Couch

            Alternate Director – Wayne Cook

Dan Couch, the National Director, gave the report from the national meeting in Madison, WS.

There is a new group of national officers:

            President – Charles Shrenkel

            Senior Vice-President – Allen Rein

            Secretary – Vicky Ferrari

            Treasurer – Wil Young

Also there is a change in staff positions at the national office in Cincinnati.

The parkers at any future national rallies will no longer get stipends for working their job. They  

will be considered volunteers like the others.

A discussion was held on the responsibilities of the our volunteers at Six-State in Hutchison, of

which Heart of America is a participant this year. The majority will be volunteering in the

education seminars. Also, one will help with commercial registration and another with the

entertainment .
