Attendees:
Genrichs, Cooks, Couches, McVays, Stremmings, Sidebottoms, Severes, TJ
Ballard, and Ginny Weaver.
The meeting was called to order by President Marilee
Couch at 9:22 am.
Information about the Chapter Fair at Six-State this
year was introduced. It will be held
Wednesday, Sept. 11th from 3 to 4 pm. The object is to reach more new members and
get them interested in joining a club. Carol Genrich volunteered to organize
the set up for a table for our chapter.
An informal treasurer’s report was given stating
that the club has a little over $8,000 combined in our Money Market and Prime
Share accounts. The giving of door prizes for Six-State was discussed. Carol
Genrich made a motion to give two $50 gift certificates for door prizes. It was
seconded by Lucille Severe. The motion passed unanimously and the treasurer
will obtain the gift cards and contact the door prize coordinator.
There was discussion about the minutes being posted
on the website for all to view. A motion was made by Dan Couch and seconded by
Gary Sidebottom to approve the minutes as posted. The motion passed.
Wayne Cook, Carol Cook, Charlie Genrich, and Dan
Couch reported on the meetings held at the FMCA rally in Gillette. Charlie
Adcock was elected the new president of FMCA. It was reported that FMCA has $7
½ million in their investment account and 800 new members. They have cut many
employees to reduce expenses. They announced the other officers for FMCA.
Dan Couch reported some of the candidates running
for Six-State officers. Dan is running for Treasurer.
Club election of officers for next year will be held
at the October rally in Grove, OK. All members are encouraged to attend.
Wagonmaster, Carol Genrich passed out an updated
rally list.
A motion to adjourn was made by Carol Genrich and
seconded by Lucille Severe. The motion passed, of course.
