SECRETARY’S
REPORT
The Heart of America Coachmen business meeting was
called to order by Marilee Couch, President, on April 19, at the Coachlight RV
Park in Carthage, Mo.
The
following members were in attendance:
The
Backers, Carliles, Careys, Cooks, Couchs,
Drennons, Genrichs, Jack Mathes, McVays,
Severes, Sidebottoms, Stremmings and Ginny Weaver.
Marilee
welcomed everyone. Marilee asked if anyone would like the minutes be read from our
last meeting in October, it was decided that it was not necessary, Elaine
Sidebottom so moved, 2nd. by
Gary Sidebottom. Motion accepted by voice vote.
Treasurer’s
report was read by Elaine Sidebottom.

Elaine
filed the taxes for Heart of America on 2-12-2013
Carol
Cook advised everyone that Gary Nash’s mom passed away and requested that we
all sign a condolence card that she is sending to Gary on our behalf.
There
will be no meeting in June. Most of our
members will be at the National’s in Gillette, WY.
Ginny
Weaver with be wagonmaster for July.
Any
members going to the July Rally at Deer Creek Valley in Topeka, KS should make
reservations by June 1, 2013.
Dan
Couch advised the members that he may not be at the National’s in June because of
Marilee’s surgery, and that Wayne Cook would be the National Director representative. Dan also mentioned that he is running for Six State Treasurer and would appreciate our support.
Dan
said the Six State Rally will be in Sedalia, Mo this year. Dan is looking for
memorabilia for the 50th anniversary of our chapter. If anyone has pictures, etc. please let him
know.
The
nominating committee for this year are Wayne Cook, Ken Stremming and Gary
Sidebottom.
Tom
Drennon moved to adjourn meeting, 2nd by Wayne Cook. Motion accepted by voice vote.
