JULY 19, 2012  RALLY

SECRETARY REPORT

The Heart of America Coachmen business meeting was called to order by Charles Genrich, President, on July 19th at the Peculiar Park Place, RV Park, in Peculiar, Kansas.

The following couples were in attendance: Nick and Joann Backer, Dick and Anne Marie Carlile, Wayne and Carol Cook, Dan and Marilee Couch, Chuck and Carol Genrich, Jack and Delores Mathes, John and Lucille Severe, Gary and Elaine Sidebottom and Ginny Weaver.

Chuck welcomed everyone.

Chuck asked if anyone would like the minutes from our last meeting on April 23^rd, 2012 read, it was decided that it was not necessary and minutes were approved.

Treasurer’s report was read by Elaine Sidebottom.

New Business

            Quartermaster, Lucille Severe, advised group that she had 2 large Heart of America Coachman jackets left and cannot get any more of that style.  She can however, try to order other jackets, shirts and hats.

Chuck advised our group that the Election of Officers would now be held in October, not in July as mentioned in the April minutes. Chuck will now attend in October, as a previous engagement had been cancelled.

Chuck thanked Carol Genrich, Ginny Weaver, Lynch’s, Sidebottoms, Cooks, Severe’s, and T.J. Ballard for the wonderful food this weekend.

Gary Sidebottom advised us that we would have to change our destination for the October Rally. He and Elaine have been working to get October 17^th thru October 20^th in Louisburg, Kansas and asked that we discuss it.  Everyone agreed that it was a good choice. Elaine will call Monday to finalize.

Dan Couch mentioned that FMCA had plenty of space available for the August rally in Indianapolis but all of the electric sites have been spoken for. Also, extra electric has been installed at Shawnee, OK for the 6 State Rally.

Dan Couch nominated Marilee for President if is agreeable, no one else has entered their name, so far.  Officers up for re-election are: Sue Carey: Vice President, Anne Marie Carlile: Secretary, Dan Couch: National Director, Wayne Cook: Alt. Nat’l Director, Wagonmaster: Carol Genrich, Newsletter Editor: Chuck Genrich, Treasurer: Elaine Sidebottom.

Chuck closed the officers election discussion.

Carol Genrich advised us she is working on the 2013 schedule. Here are the hosts for these months. 

 April 18-21, Severe’s, May 9-12 Mathes, June 20-23, Carlile’s, July 18-21 Weaver, August 15-18 Couchs, September: 6 State, and October is still open. 

Lucille Severe made a motion to end meeting, Carol Genrich 2^nd.
