OCTOBER 18, 2012 RALLY
SECRETARY REPORT
The
Heart of America Coachmen Election of Officers Meeting was called to order by
Charles Genrich, President, on October 20th at the Rutlader RV Park, Louisberg, KS.
The
following couples were in attendance: Chuck and Carol Genrich, Nick and Joann
Backer, Dick and Anne Marie Carlile, Wayne and Carol Cook, Dan and Marilee
Couch, Gary and Elaine Sidebottom and Ginny Weaver.
Chuck
welcomed everyone.
Chuck asked if anyone would like the minutes from our
last meeting on July 21, 2012 read, it was decided that it was not necessary,
and minutes were approved.
Treasurer’s
report was read by Elaine Sidebottom.

Rallys/Hosts for the year 2013 are as follows: April 18-21: Severes, May 9-12: Mathes, June
(No Event), July 18-21: Ginny Weaver, August 15-18: Couches, September (6
State), October 17-20: Carliles.
Dan Couch reported on the Governing Board meeting in
Indianapolis. There were two major issues. (1) The governing board endorsed the
termination of the old FMCA medical. (2) The governing board made a motion to
have a 60 day written notice before each Governing Board meeting to enable the
Board to raise dues if so voted. They also discussed towables and decided that each
area may do as they wish.
Gary Sidebottom gave us a synopsis of the Shawnee,
Okla. Rally and asked that everyone take pictures this winter.
Election of
Officers. There being no additional candidates for chapter
officers, Ginny Weaver made a motion to accept the nominations by acclamation,
Gary Sidebottom seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Officers Elected
were as follows: Marilee Couch was
elected President, Sue Carey, Vice President, Anne Marie Carlile, Secretary,
Elaine Sidebottom, Treasurer, Dan Couch, National Director, Wayne Cook,
Alternate National Director and Carol Genrich, Wagonmaster.
Carol Genrich made a motion to adjourn our meeting,
Chuck Genrich seconded.
